Winter Wonderland

Students and staff alike were overjoyed with the first snow of the season. It was a slippery morning, but a path was plowed in time for the start of school. Of course, many students still opted to avoid the path and trudge through the deep snow! To the delight of the kindergarten students, they were able to start their day by going sledding in the nearby Rosengarten. Primary 3, 5, and 6 already had prior plans and needed to venture into the city to watch a nature film. They enjoyed walking through the city and viewing the lake with the snowy mountains in the background. On the playground, students enjoyed various snow activities including building snowmen, making snow angels and just being delighted by the snowy surroundings.
